Polka Mass Choir
Embracing the ethnic culture of our community’s heritage, a quarterly mass is celebrated with authentic polka tunes and Czech traditions.           
Saturday and Sunday Liturgy Choirs (Saturday 5:00 PM, Sunday 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM. and 11:00 AM)
A variety of musicians and singers assist our worshippers in song at all Saturday and Sunday masses.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
(Church/ Home Communion/ First Friday Home Communion)
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist priests and deacons in the distribution of Holy Communion during the mass and/or at home to those not able to attend mass. This honor is by appointment.

Altar Servers
Altar servers assist the priests at Mass. Children, both male and female, who have received their First Eucharist and are in the 4th grade are eligible to begin the training.

Ushers
Our ushers and greeters are the first people you meet when you arrive to Mass. They serve as greeters and hospitality, help to seat parishioners and generally assist the congregation through the liturgy.

Hispanic
Each year members of the parish join together for the Our Lady of Guadalupe celebrations in December.  The festivities include authentic Mariachi music and cultural dancers.  Numerous handmade flowers are made to decorate the statue of Our Lady and a statue of the kneeling St. Juan Diego.

Lector
The objective of the Minister of the Word (lector) is not merely to be an interesting oral reader of the Bible, it is to provide effective proclamation of God's Word in Scripture. Effective proclamation of the Scriptures depends on the quality of how the lector prepares to minister to the congregation.

Altar Society
This ministry serves the needs of the altar by caring for all altar linens and the priest’s vestments. The society cleans, repairs, and/or replaces them as necessary.  The altar society is also responsible for maintaining the proper supply of wine, hosts and candles to meet the Liturgical needs of the parish.  Each member is assigned a few weekends a year to perform basic “housekeeping” duties within the church.

ACTS (Men, Women and Teens)
Through the ACTS retreats, ACTS Missions provides the spark that ignites Catholics, worldwide, with the true eternal flame of the Holy spirit. As an instrument of God, ACTS is the light that will bring about New Evangelization to the entire world by fostering love and true discipleship, leading others to a commitment and obedience to Our Lord Jesus Christ by our every word, action and thought. Cemetery Committee
This committee is designed to help maintain the guidelines and upkeep of the HCC Cemetery.  Also, the committee assists with special events during the year.  Membership is by appointment.

Faith Formation
HCC offers a unique intergenerational educational program for members all members of the parish. Our classes assist adults/ parents with the faith formation of their children in the Catholic faith as well as sacramental preparation.  The Generations of Faith program is provide every 1st and 2nd Wednesday of the month, August through May.  Registration for fall classes is held annually in late summer.

Sacristans
The sacristans are responsible for preparing the altar for worship prior to each Mass or other liturgical service.  This includes outfitting the credence table with sufficient wine and hosts for the service along with the appropriate number of patens, cups, purificators, hand towels, bowels, pitchers or other liturgical items needed.  The sacristans also see to it that all items are cleaned and put away following the liturgy.

Adoration
(Thursday following 7:00 AM Mass – 7:00 PM Check bulletin for changes in schedule.)
Exposition is a manner of honoring the Holy Eucharist, by exposing it, with proper solemnity, to the view of the faithful in order that they may pay their devotions before It.

Disciples on the Journey
Disciples on the Journey is a lectionary-based Lenten resource for adults that includes a commentary, faith-sharing questions, ways to live as disciples, a saint of the week, and opening and closing prayers with rituals. It is used during the six weeks of Lent to help reflect on the Sunday readings, share faith with one another, and ponder God’s call to serve our brothers and sisters.

Pastoral Institute
The Pastoral Institute is committed to making adult education a high priority in the Diocese of Victoria by providing a solid curriculum of basic courses pertaining to the Catholic faith.  Understanding and living the Catholic Faith is a life-long commitment. Each person is called to grow continually and to respond openly to Christ in his/her life.

Senior Citizen Dinner
